Welcome to the Auckland Pride Festival!
The Auckland Pride Festival is bringing the love back to our fabulous Super City throughout February 2015!
Now entering its third year, the Auckland Pride Festival is firmly established as New Zealand’s biggest and best social and cultural celebration for the Rainbow Community
(Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Takatāpui, Fa’afafine, Intersex, Queer) and their friends and families.
The Auckland Pride Festival 2015 will run from Saturday 7 February until Sunday 1 March, with events right across the Auckland region. The 2015 programme has been lengthened by one week to accommodate the increasing number of events that are proud to be featured within the Festival.
A celebration of Rainbow Community culture and identity, the 2015 Auckland Pride Festival will feature around 70 individual events – including local and international theatre and cabaret, visual art exhibitions, live music, film and new media, literature, debates and discussions, drag and burlesque, historical walks, youth events and workshops, sports and recreation, gardening, pets, pageants and parties!
While most Auckland Pride Festival activity will centre around Ponsonby and Karangahape Roads, the Festival’s events will also reach out to West Auckland, South Auckland and into the Hauraki Gulf.
How to register your event

Auckland Pride Festival programme
A collectible Auckland Pride Festival programme will be printed and distributed right across New Zealand in mid-January. With a print run of 30,000 copies, the tabloid size Pride programme will be the single largest publication targeting New Zealand’s Rainbow Community in 2015.
All registered events will be listed in the programme, but if you want your event or organisation to stand out it would pay to advertise! The booking deadline for advertising is 5pm on Monday 22 December 2014.
