The Auckland Pride Festival and Parade is now looking for enthusiastic, welcoming and community-minded volunteers from all backgrounds with a broad variety of skills.
There are many roles available in which you can apply your expertise, make new friends and enjoy the Auckland Pride experience!

Auckland Pride Parade Volunteers

The Parade Director is currently seeking volunteers for a variety of Parade Marshall positions.  These positions have the best view of the Parade!  The Parade Crew is a supportive, community-focused team.  Parade Marshalls will be required to attend several training sessions, including health and safety briefings.

LYC Big Gay Out Volunteers

Volunteering at the LYC Big Gay Out is a great way to meet people and have a fantastically fabulous day!  Crew are required in a variety of roles including traffic control, crowd control, gold coin collection buckets, taking photos, applying tattoos, event coordinator assistants, as ambassadors, and helping to pack in and out.

Pride Programme Delivery Crew

The Festival Director is seeking volunteers in Auckland, and all over New Zealand, to help distribute the printed Pride 2015 programme.  Drivers, cyclists and walkers will be needed in mid-January to deliver the programme and posters into venues, community organisations, cafés, libraries, fashion boutiques, music stores, hair salons, and other outlets across Auckland and throughout the country.
