Auckland Pride Parade Volunteers

Auckland Pride Parade is looking for enthusiastic, welcoming and thoughtful volunteers for the 2013 Auckland Pride Parade. We need volunteers from all backgrounds with a variety of skills. There are many roles for you to apply your expertise and hopefully to gain new experience:

• Stationary Marshals – positioned along the route to keep our Parade family safe (the best seat in the house)
• Gap Marshals – located on traffic islands to keep the Parade moving along at an interesting pace
• Check-In Agents – to register and check the floats as they arrive at the mustering area
• Cast Members – with some dance ability to join the Lead Float
• Walking Marshals – to escort the Remembrance Float

Pride Marketing Interns

Auckland Pride Festival is currently seeking a couple of smart and dedicated marketing interns to assist with various aspects of the campaign, from photo shoots and publicity appearances to social networking, database development and programme distribution.

Get It On! Big Gay Out Volunteers

Get It On! Big Gay Out volunteer crew are required in a variety of roles including traffic control, crowd control, gold coin collection buckets, taking photos, applying tattoos, event co-ordinator assistants, as ambassadors, and helping to pack-in and out.
